Steep learning curve
Instead of just observing others, at SRL, I get the opportunity to dive in and actively work right away. They also invest in my development—I’m currently taking the RB (Tax Advisor) course, for example.

Tailor-made role
Thanks to the small scale of the organization, there’s a lot of flexibility, and they even created a role specifically for me. It’s really based on what I enjoy most, which in my case is tax work and client interaction.

Balancing work and private life
I’m a mother of two young children, and when something comes up or they’re sick, there’s a lot of understanding. You can even pop over to school for a performance. It’s important to them that everyone has this flexibility. There’s no judgment, and you don’t feel guilty about it.

Appreciation
I notice that clients actively seek me out and call with questions. Compliments from clients are also passed on to me by the partners, which gives me a strong sense of appreciation.

Young team with many opportunities
The addition of Bas, Rudi, Ivo, and Ferry as new partners has brought fresh energy to the company. As colleagues, we can easily collaborate. They expect independence and initiative. Their enthusiasm for the company’s growth gives us a lot of freedom in our work.

and we respect each other’s individuality.

Lots of freedom
You’re expected to take initiative, which offers a lot of freedom but also responsibility. There are fewer rigid rules and procedures than at larger firms. SRL is still developing many of these processes, and that’s what I enjoy—being able to take initiative and contribute to creating these processes together.

Room for relaxation and fun
Besides working hard, there’s also room for relaxation and fun. Twice a year, we have a company outing, which is a great way to do something fun outside of the office with the whole team.

Ambitious future plans
I see a clear future for myself at SRL. I want to serve more clients and see myself becoming an independent tax consultant in a few years. The partners fully support this goal. It’s important to me to feel challenged and to work on exciting projects. There is so much work and so many opportunities at SRL; it really depends on how far you want to go yourself. This makes working at SRL particularly appealing for beginners. You can learn a lot and grow quickly.
